Safer Homes Week took place during 22 -26 October‚ in association with National Grid. Age Concerns in several regions worked in partnership with local organisations to host events and activities to promote awareness of‚ and practical assistance with key safety issues in the home. 

The four key areas of safety this project aims to concentrate on are:

• gas safety
• home security
• energy efficiency
• accidents and hazards 

31 Age Concerns were involved in this exciting new initiative in the following regions: North West‚ East‚ East Midlands‚ West Midlands and North London.
