The Time Capsule - Childhood

Scarborough Holiday 1920s

Scarborough Beach 1920's, man and girl playing in the surf, the man has his trouser legs rolled up, a wooden boat drifts in the background.
Scarborough Beach, Yorkshire 1920's

Mother and Dad went to Scarborough on their holidays in the 1920's.   They hired deck chairs to sit on the beach. Like everybody else they are dressed in their best clothes, not like today when people dress casually.  They did a lot of walking and at night went dancing. Scarborough was a popular seaside holiday town for people from Yorkshire towns.
