The groom is wearing the dress uniform of the Royal Tank Regiment.Before the war he was in a cavalry regiment but when hostilities broke out they took away his horse and gave him a tank. The bride wore a matching Royal blue dress and hat. Previously she had worked at a children's home in Hastings, during the early air raids.
