The Time Capsule - How to..

Sending an e-mail

Now that you've set up your e-mail address you can go about sending your first message.

When you log into your e-mail account you will see a menu on the screen where you can choose to read your electronic mail or to write a message to someone else.

To send a message to someone you will need to ensure that you have a valid e-mail address for them.

Carefully type their address in to the box at the top marked 'To'.

Choose a title for your message. When they open their e-mail account to check their messages they will see who the message is from and the title of the message so you can help them know what it's about.

In the large box type in your message. When you have finished writing your message just click on the button marked ‘Send’ and your message will be sent over the internet to their address. It usually only takes a moment or two for your message to be received at the other end.
