| In May 1983 Rita and I went to Kranji, Yugoslavia on holiday. Whilst we were there it was Rita's birthday and we decided to walk through the mountains to Podcoren for lunch.
It was a very hot day and we were feeling tired. The village was beautiful and we found a pretty restaurant and collapsed in there for lunch (which took three hours) a fantastic meal.
Well fortified we set off back for the long trek back to Kranji. We'd had a long and tiring day it was memorable and well worth it.
