The Time Capsule - 1960s

Our dogs

All our married life has been shared with a dog. The first fifteen years we had a mongrel. He was called Sandy becauPicture of dog sitting on chairse of his colour. He was owned by a farmer and he was a puppy far too rough for the rest of the litter. Eddie was out on the butchers round when he fell in love with the little might, and as tha farmer was having him put to sleep, the rest was history.

Our second little dog was a pedegree West Highland White, he came from a family at Knipton. We had him  fourteen years. The vets did very well out of him as he suffered a lot of eczema which is very comnon in this breed of dog.

Our third and last dog is another Westie. He was three years old when we had him, and very uncared for. His name is Jack.

All these dogs have given us many hours of pleasure, and I hope that they in return have had a good home.
