The Time Capsule - 1940s

Working in a factory - 1943

I can recall whilst working in the factory near to where we lived always at 10 am & 3pm the tannoy system would play Music While You Work, and being in the middle of all the bombings, it was a nice relief to hear such bands like Joe Loss, Billy Cotton, and all the popular band of the day. I wonder how many more people can remember those days.
