The Time Capsule - 1940s

Winter Snow - 1947

Will always remember the snow!!
My mother pushed me in my pushchair and the snow was so deep that it had to be cleared by men with shovels, lots and lots of them!!
It was a few years later that I was told that they were prisoner of war, which came as a surprise to me, I had thought they all went home straight after the war.
