The Time Capsule - Stories

Teapots in an East London pub!

The American people were wonderfull and sent us goodies to help the war effort.  At the bottom of Leytonstone High Rd. is the Thatched House pub.  During the war it served as a mortuary and a store for tea pots sent over from America for the tea loving British people. There were so many tea pots a store had to be found for them, so the pub was used.
