The Time Capsule - Stories

Fair Thee Well? - 2006

Here I am, now ninety nine.
Life is now not so fine!
Healthwise, I am very frail.
My battle is of no avail.
My memory is still quite clear.
Those long past days are very near.
It is indeed a sorry fate
To be past one's sell by date!

Thank God for my wonderful life!
I have had fulfilment in being to my husband his wife.
There is sorrow and joy for everyone.
It has come to me, but also fun.
The yesterdays have been very kind to me.
And helped me grow a family tree.
Oh! Yesterday....!
