Volunteers make a vital difference to our work and we provide numerous volunteering opportunities for corporate employees. We have a number of national volunteering co-ordinators throughout the UK who are able to provide opportunities in projects such as IT training‚ befriending schemes‚ transport or entertainment.

The benefits that individuals can gain from volunteering include enhanced communication skills‚ project management‚ teamwork and negotiation.

  Refurbished Age Concern shops using their front shop expertise.

  Employees helped to train volunteers to undertake small DIY tasks‚ as part of their sponsorship of our Handyperson schemes.

  Employees helped to decorate day centres.

  Staff developed a sensory garden project and completed a shop makeover.
