Stockroom volunteers

Why we need your involvement?
To sort good quality clothing‚ shoes‚ and accessories for sale on the shop floor.

What will you do?

  • Sort clothing‚ shoes and accessories into saleable items and recycling items
  • Prepare stock for shop floor: this will involve hanging‚ sizing‚ steaming‚ ticketing‚ and pricing (once fully trained one use of price guide and brand recognition)

What skills will you need?

  • A keen eye for fashion
  • Understanding of labels and brands
  • Able to work swiftly and accurately
  • Work as part of a team or on own initiative

When will you be needed?
Days and times arranged for mutual convenience‚ but for this role delivery days are good days to be around. Two four hour shifts a week will be ideal to keep your newly acquired skills up-to-date.

How will we support you?
You will be fully trained for the role.Your manager will provide ongoing support‚ and may well have another volunteer “buddy” who will work with you for the first few weeks.
