Run to the Beat held its first half marathon in London on 5th October 2008. This was hugely popular and was a complete sell-out with running places in massive demand! With a unique mix of running and music‚ Run to the Beat is specifically designed to help you maximise your running performance throughout the course.
The event showcased local bands and groups as well as more widely recognised artists. Live bands and musicians were placed on stages around the course finishing at the O2 arena where participants could celebrate their achievement with friends and family. The course also ran past three of the 2012 Olympic venues and was hosted by one of the London Olympic boroughs.
With a central inspirational theme‚ every music genre is included. The music is scientifically selected to match the physiological and psychological demands of a half marathon.
Run to the Beat is a truly unique experience - don't miss out on next year's event!
