Training & Recruitment Volunteers

Why we need your involvement?

  • To help us ensure we have sufficient volunteers in our shops
  • To help ensure customer service
  • To help raise money for older people in your local community

What will you do?

  • In conjunction with the Manager‚ you will organise recruitment sessions for new volunteers 
  • You will assist in the induction training on ongoing training of new volunteers

What skills will you need?

  • You will be outgoing‚ able to talk to people easily
  • You will be thorough‚ and patient
  • Ideally you will have previous experience of recruitment and training‚ but this is not essential

When will you be needed?

  • Arranged with the shop manager at a mutually convenient time. For this role‚ we would anticipate planning in monthly events‚ depending on the shop’s needs. If you are prepared to carry out this role in more than one location‚ this would be arranged by the managers of each shop

How will we support you?

  • We will provide you with induction training‚ and further information as required
  • We will ensure we can provide you with equipment necessary to fulfil your role
