Our celebrity ambassadors

Over the course of the last two years, Age Concern has had the good fortune to be able to call on some very special celebrities to act as our ambassadors to promote the important work we carry out to help older people. In 2006, Barbara Windsor, Fiona Phillips, Gloria Hunniford and Tess Daly all pledged their support, with Huw Edwards and Tony Robinson joining them last year.

These leading lights of radio and television have already given a huge boost to our profile in the short period of time they’ve been involved, and for all their sterling efforts, we are eternally grateful.
