New Goods Volunteer

Why we need your involvement?

  • To help us ensure we have full displays of new goods
  • To ensure customer service on this area
  • To help raise money for older people in your local community

What will you do?

  • In conjunction with the Manager‚ you will check displays of new goods regularly and place top up orders as required
  • You will look out for opportunities to sell new goods in the shop and local community‚ and discuss with the manager
  • You will unpack the delivery and check it off

What skills will you need?

  • You will be outgoing‚ able to talk to people easily
  • You will be thorough‚ and able to complete basic paperwork
  • You will have a keen eye for display and co-ordination

When will you be needed?

  • Arranged with the shop manager at a mutually convenient time. For this role‚ we would anticipate two hour long shifts a week would be sufficient to unpack and check deliveries‚ display new lines and check for re-orders.

How will we support you?

  • We will provide you with induction training‚ and further information as required
  • We will ensure we can provide you with equipment necessary to fulfil your role
