Activities outside the homeActivities such as day care, lunch clubs, outings, learning and leisure opportunities, including computer training are available at many local offices.
Emotional and social support at homeA large number of Age Concerns provide befriending and visiting services, particularly to the housebound. Many also offer advocacy and counselling services.
Personal careMany Age Concerns provide personal care at home, particularly for those who wish to remain in their own homes. This may range from help with bathing and dressing, to foot care, hairdressing, and the provision of mobility aids.
