Care home funding and attendance allowance - Information sheet 13

If you are a care home resident‚ your eligibility for attendance allowance depends on how your care is funded.  This information sheet explains whether attendance allowance is payable to residents who are:

  • Self funding;
  • Supported by the local authority or the NHS;
  • Property owners receiving loan funding from the local authority.
