Near or far‚ short or long - holidays are a great way to break up the year and experience something new.

If you can't travel far‚ remember there are plenty of places closer to home you can enjoy now it's getting warmer.

There are special travel agents that cater for the older traveller and provide holidays for all budgets. 

 

 

Coach tours

Going on a coach tour is a great way to make new friends and can be lots of fun. They don't cost the world and tour operators are often aware of mobility issues.

Coach trips are often arranged locally - your local Age Concern may have details of coach trips in your area.

Many local Age Concerns arrange special holidays and even if they have no scheme of their own‚ they may know of other agencies in the area that can help‚ such as charities with holiday schemes for the less able.
