The four national Age Concerns in the UK have joined together with Help the Aged to form new national charities dedicated to improving the lives of older people.

Grant giving
Our Grants Unit gives out over £11 million each year in grants.
The grant funds are built up from donations by individuals‚ charitable trusts and companies. We also receive some government and National Lottery funding for distribution to local projects.
We regret that we are unable to makes grants to individuals. Age Concern groups and organisation should contact the Grants Unit for Age Concern administered grants. These grant programmes are not accessible to the wider voluntary sector.
Capital Grants
Once again Age Concern England is administering applications for both the Bradbury Foundation and The Dowager Countess Eleanor Peel Trust. Information on both these Grant opportunities for capital initiatives can be found elsewhere in Signpost.
