Q. How can I arrange my funeral the way I want it?
A. There’s a choice of Plans available. You can choose how you want your funeral to be. Any special requests‚ such as a favourite hymn or reading can be added.

Q. How will my family or executor know what to do when the time comes?
A. It simply takes one telephone call from your executor or appointed person to put your Plan into action. Everything they need to know is in the Executor Pack we send you which you can give them in advance. At such a stressful time‚ your Age Concern Guaranteed Funeral Plan will make things so much easier.  

Q.Who looks after the money I pay into the Plan?
A. The funds for your funeral are held in the Trust for Age Concern Funeral Plans. The Trust Fund is managed by M & G Investment Management Ltd.

Q. What happens if funeral costs go up dramatically?
A. No matter what happens to funeral costs in the future‚ the services in your Plan are covered in full. This includes paying for your funeral director‚ doctors’ certificates‚ minister and cremation.Even if you don’t need your Plan until years from now‚ it’s not a problem.

Q. Does it take long to arrange my Funeral Plan?
A. Just a few minutes. You can do it online‚ or if you prefer‚ by post. Simply complete your Personal Arrangements Form and send it with your deposit and preferred method of payment. We’ll take care of everything else. What’s more‚ the Plan is flexible enough for you to make any changes or additions in the future.

Q. Am I able to have an eco-friendly funeral?
A. Please ask our customer service team to tell you about eco-friendly funeral services available in your area.

Q. Can I take out a Plan for someone else?
A. Yes‚ as long as they are aged 50 or more. Just follow the simple instructions on the Application Form.

Q. Are there any health restrictions?
A. None whatsoever. Acceptance to the Plan is guaranteed whatever your state of health. As long as you’re over 50‚ you’re in.    

Q. Am I covered if I want a burial and not a cremation?
A. The Funeral Directors services are guaranteed to be covered. External burial costs vary considerably and are not guaranteed by the Plan. There is an index linked contribution in the Plan towards them.

Q. What if I change my mind once I’ve taken out a Plan?
A. The Age Concern Guaranteed Funeral Plan comes with a 28 Day Money Back Guarantee. If you change your mind within that time‚ you’ll get a full refund of the money you have paid in. You can still cancel after 28 days‚ but there is a £95 cancellation fee.
