Free welcome pack

Once you’ve joined‚ you’ll receive a welcome pack that could help you to save energy and money. Your pack includes a welcome booklet enabling you to claim a free gift worth up to £20. You can choose either:

• A TV Power Down – which automatically switches the TV and any home entertainment additions (such as a video recorder or  a DVD player) on or off when the TV is turned on or off
• A carbon monoxide alarm
• A twin pack of LED nightlights to provide a low level of light in bedrooms and landings

Notes

i. Gas customers aged 60 and over may receive an additional payment beyond this guaranteed amount‚ based on the number of days the temperature is below freezing point between December and February (the temperature is taken from the Pickering Weather station in Yorkshire‚ one of the coldest places in the UK). This will now give the equivalent of an extra three hours gas fire heating for each qualifying day.

ii. Discounts are not payable on final bills. 

iii) Depending on your circumstances we can offer you specially discounted cavity wall and loft insulation which could save you up to £420 every year on your energy bills. The £420 saving over one year period is made up from increasing your loft insulation from 25mm to 270mm (11") and installing cavity wall insulation. The costs savings shown are approximate‚ are provided for illustrative purposes only and are based on a gas heated semi-detached house with three bedrooms. Savings assume a gas price of 3.40p/kWh with a gas consumption of  31‚700 units per annum ( prior to installing the insulation measures.) Individual savings may vary depending on type‚ age‚ main heating fuel of your home or if you choose to take increase warmth of the installation measures.
