
Roadside service
If you break down more than a mile from home‚ you will be covered for the cost of the call-out and any labour charges.
If repairs can’t be carried out quickly at the roadside‚ your vehicle will be taken to the nearest available garage or you can choose a destination. You are then responsible for the costs of any repairs carried out.
Recovery service
If your vehicle can’t be repaired quickly at the roadside‚ your vehicle and up to 4 passengers can be taken to any single destination you choose in Mainland Britain and Northern Ireland.
Home service
Did you know that over 20% of breakdowns happen at or near the owner’s home? If you break down at or within a mile of your home‚ and the car can’t be re-started quickly‚ we will pay the reasonable cost of taking the vehicle to the nearest available garage.
Emergency travel or accommodation
You can claim up to £100 if your vehicle breaks down more than 25 miles from home and can’t be repaired or taken home or to your chosen destination on the same working day. The money is to help you continue by road‚ rail or air to your destination (excludes ferry transport costs) – or it can go towards the cost of one night’s emergency accommodation close to where the breakdown happened.
Medical transfer service
If you’re more than 50 miles from home and someone travelling in your car needs to go to hospital because of an illness or accidental injury that’s happened during the journey‚ the policy will cover the cost for the patient to be taken to a hospital near their home address as soon as it’s safe to move them.
Driver rescue service
If you’re the only driver in the car and have to stop your journey because you’re ill‚ injured or suffering from shock‚ you will be covered for the cost of your travel home. You can travel by taxi‚ train or coach (ferry fares will not be refunded) and also we will pay for one person to return and collect the insured vehicle and recover it to your home address.
Message service
Sometimes‚ the distress of not being able to tell people at your destination what’s happened can make a breakdown even worse than it is already. So of course – if you ask us – a message will be sent to your friends or family to let them know what’s happening.

Lines are open 8am-8pm Monday to Friday‚ 9.30am-1.30pm Saturdays.
