Be a Silver Star for Age Concern!
Age Concern launched its first ever Be A Silver Star fundraising event on Friday 27th February where people up and down the country sparkled in silver‚ and truly were silver stars!
Age Concern shops had silver window displays and staff in businesses around the UK wore silver to work and made a donation. In local communities more extravagant silver events took place such as ‘Silver Stars in Your Eyes’ karaoke competitions‚ silver tombolas‚ and people bid for Silver Services.

Although the 27th February has now passed‚ it doesn’t mean you can’t still hold a Silver Stars day of your own to raise money for older people.
