AIMS for black and minority ethnic elders

Asian womanWe are constantly working towards making our services more accessible to black and minority ethnic elders living in sheltered and retirement housing.

 

We provide factsheets in seven different languages:

  • Bengali
  • Hindi AIMS advice is available in several languages
  • Gujarati
  • Punjabi
  • Urdu
  • Vietnamese
  • Cantonese

 

We can also visit BME Elders groups, to talk about AIMS’ services with advice workers and with BME Elders themselves. We hold advice surgeries for any BME Elders with particular questions or issues, with interpreters present if required.
