The first national conference on the needs of older lesbians, gay men and bisexuals, held in April 2002, brought together for the first time over 200 participants from throughout the UK – older people, statutory service providers, voluntary organisations and representatives of Government.

Out of a day of inspiring presentations and workshops, animated debate and intense networking the conference produced innumerable ideas and strategies for moving forward.

Two reports of the day are available:

• the summary conference report
• transcripts of the conference presentations, write-ups of the workshops and their recommendations
