Our comment on Nick Clegg's proposals for care reform

Gordon Lishman, Director General of Age Concern, said:

"The way that the care system treats older people is a national disgrace. Nick Clegg’s vision for care is a welcome addition to the debate about radical reform of the system.

“The challenge for all politicians though is to think beyond the limitations of the current system and ensure that everyone can access the care they need.”
