What we want

An adviserWe want national and local government to value independent, trusted services and recognise the contribution they can make to tackling pensioner poverty and isolation among older people.

Government departments and local government should work together to make sure that funding is available for independent information and advice services which meets the needs of order people wherever they live.

Funding is available for particular sorts of advice, like housing and care, but older people need access in one place to a whole range of information, benefits and services.
