When is the Great Sunday Lunch?
The first ever Great Sunday Lunch takes place on Sunday 19 October 2008. But if you can’t do lunch on that day – don’t worry! Why not start that weekend early by having your Sunday lunch on a Friday or whenever suits!

Where should I hold my Great Sunday Lunch?
Wherever you want! At home‚ at work‚ at school‚ in a pub or restaurant. In fact if you are thinking of an unusual venue‚ let us know - we’re sure your local newspaper or radio station will be interested to hear!

Who can take part?
Anyone and everyone! In fact‚ the more‚ the merrier. All that matters is you get together with your friends and family‚ have fun and raise vital funds to help the UK’s older people.

How can I register?
You can register online now and follow the simple steps. Once you have registered‚ you will receive a fundraising pack in the post. Most people register online because it is fun‚ easy‚ quick and cuts down on administration. If you can't register online‚ please phone 0845 241 7299‚ and we will register you and send you a fundraising pack.

How do I organise my event?
Your fundraising pack has lots of hints and tips about how to organise an event‚ including invitations and money off vouchers for Aunt Bessie products to help you plan your extra special lunch. You can download materials for your event by clicking on the link. If you need more ideas‚ or if you have ideas you'd like to share‚ then give us a call!

How do I send in my money?
The easiest way to make a donation is to send us a cheque made payable to ‘Age Concern England’ in the envelope provided in your fundraising pack. Remember to include your completed Gift Aid form.
 
You can also donate by phoning us on 0845 241 7299 with your credit card details or you can donate online.

If you are donating online or over the phone‚ please remember to also post us your completed Gift Aid form provided in your fundraising pack. This way we can claim an additional 25% back from the government on your donation at no cost to you.

Where do I send the cheque to?
Please make sure all cheques are made payable to ‘Age Concern England’ and posted to:

Why haven't I received a 'thank you' letter from Age Concern yet?
We are really grateful for every donation that we receive - however large or small. We aim to send out all thank you letters within 5 working days of receiving the donation. However‚ if for some reason you haven’t received your letter‚ please call 0845 241 7299 and we can check your donation has been safely received and rectify this situation immediately.

How can I win a prize?

What if I don't want a prize?
If you don't want a prize‚ that's fine! Just let us know when you send us your money‚ photographs or recipes that you do not wish to claim a prize.

What does the fundraising pack contain?

• Lots of hints‚ tips and ideas about how to organise your event
• Details of all the great competitions and prizes to be won
• Recipe ideas and money off vouchers from Aunt Bessie's
• 12 x invitation cards to send out to your guests
• Stickers so you can decide which of your guests will be head chef‚ wine waiter‚ best dressed and most generous guest
• A gift aid form to collect the money
• An envelope to send your hard earned money safely back to us

How can I publicise my event?
We want to help you gain as much publicity as possible! If you are organising an event that would be of interest to your local newspaper or if you are willing to speak on local radio about why you are involved‚ then please call 0845 241 7299 and let us know.
