Age Concern England has strong relationships with European and international organisations concerned with ageing and older people. These relationships range from information sharing and influencing work to joint projects.
We also monitor and influence European institutions. The EU provides the legal framework which allows citizens of the EU to trade, work, meet, travel, live and receive social benefits and health care throughout the EU. Around 50% of UK legislation is now influenced by the EU.
