Information & advice

As the primary source of impartial information‚ advice and mediation in sheltered and retirement housing‚ AIMS has a responsibility to promote the discussion of current policy issues and to foster good practice.

One of the ways we did this was through our annual policy forums for private retirement and rented sheltered housing.  These gave staff and resident representatives the opportunity to listen to expert guest speakers and discuss a variety of topical issues affecting sheltered and retirement housing.
