Minimum income for healthy living

Good health and an adequate income are two of the most important contributors to a happy and fulfilling life in older age.

We commissioned experts at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to carry out research bridging these two policy areas – looking at what is needed to live healthily and how much it costs to meet these needs.

The results are summarised in this paper along with our recommendations leading on from the findings.
